Björk’s ‘Crystalline:’ An Exciting Snippet Of Things To Come
Has Björk grown out of her dissonant alien-femme phase, or is this taste of new material a delightful deception?
The video features the Icelandic queen driving in her car, listening to 30 seconds of herself on the radio, sampling Crystalline off her upcoming app-based album Biophilia. What we’re hearing is, by these ears, a fantastically exciting reminder of the Homogenic days, or even possibly the sounds of Debut.

I do not think she is going to simplify her melodies. Maybe just a little bit. Going back to Debut would be a kind of degradation, so impossible, imho.
