Eddie Vedder ‘You’re True’ Official Video Surfaces
As Two Feet Thick reports, a new high-quality, well-produced video of Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder performing the solo track You’re True has appeared on YouTube, under the name “JeromeTurner1980? – a name Vedder has used in the past for his design and artwork contributions to Pearl Jam releases.
The possibility of an official Eddie Vedder live video was discussed last month, and it seems this may have been the result. The lyrics are slightly changed from when Ed first debuted the track in 2002, but the track retains the same beautiful ending:
Vedder is currently on tour in Australia, previewing tracks from his upcoming solo album, as well as a wealth of earlier material. Have a listen to the first track off his new record, entitled Longing To Belong. It’s a beauty.
Update (April 4): Also listen to three more new Eddie Vedder songs, to be included on his solo album.
As we reported earlier, discussions are underway for a new Pearl Jam album, and the long-awaited Vs/Vitalogy reissues are due later this month.
