A Perfect Circle Announce U.S. Tour Dates

A Perfect Circle have kicked off a new website and announced that they will tour North America for the first time in six years, kicking off their 2011 tour dates with a headlining performance at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio on May 22.

The band returned from their self-imposed hiatus in the fall of 2010 for a handful of intimate Western U.S. dates, which sold out within 15 seconds of going on sale. Literally.

    Blah. With the lack of a Chicago date, the “more soon” shit & the absence of any dates between August 5-7, there is certainly room to speculate that they will be playing Perry’s corporate cash cow this year. Hooray! Instead of seeing them at a medium size venue,now we can pay a ridiculous fuckin price for a ticket to sit through a buncha hipster bands that are so unique they don’t even have to be good at playing an instrument or writing a song, then fight 500k people to attempt to watch them through binoculars while making out the garbled f’d up sound from 3 miles away. Maybe they’ll get that coveted slot before Eminem or Lady gaga! Sorry for the rant…
