Reggie Watts Celebrates ‘Brown History Week’ On Conan
Our favorite wild-haired schizophrenic comedian/musician dropped in for a quick performance on Conan a few days ago, to draw attention to “Brown History Week”.
Reggie Watts, Conan O’Brien’s go-to act on last year’s pre-TBS “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour,” is a one-man improv machine, with more voices and personalities than a damn Loony Tunes episode. After briefly addressing the fact that he’s a “brown person” who understands the difficulties of “brownness,” Watts gave flight to another of his spontaneous creations, helped in no small part by the most badass golf sweater known to man.

this guy’s brilliant. isn’t it a part of his act that he improvises everything? i think the whole thing is improvised and when he said the song was written he’s just taking a piss. i mean everyone should know who this guy is.
Couldn’t agree more. I just became aware of him recently and he has quickly become a favorite of mine. I was very upset when I found out I missed his performance at Third Man Records here in Nashville last December.

The bobbing Adam Sandler head on the banner ad is perfect for this. Saw him open for Conan last summer and he was hilarious. :)
