News:  Glassjaw

A (Truly) New Glassjaw Song, Sooner Than Anyone Expected

By Skwerl

Glassjaw has recently been doing all kinds of really unusual things, like releasing music.

On January 1st, they released an EP called Our Color Green, compiling 5 “new” songs the band has been playing live since during the long wait for a new album since 2002′s Worship And Tribute. We cynically figured it would be another year or two before anything more surfaced, but here’s a brand new (truly new) track already, called Gold:

Another new EP called Colouring Book (really? Aren’t you guys from Long Island? That’s pretty much the opposite of the UK) will be available for free at the band’s upcoming shows in February and March. Want to go? You can pick up cool ticket + poster bundles on the band’s official site.

Word on the streets is that a new full length album (that may bear the same name as the newest EP) isn’t far behind.

Thanks once again to Some Kind Of Awesome, who has one hell of a leak radar.

It’s not as good as any of the vinyl singles.

I love it. As soon as you think you know this band they switch it up.

musically, top notch….but the vocals are too damn whiny (I know that’s his voice but….in this song it gets on my nerves at times….)

I laughed kind of hard for about 15 seconds after reading that opening sentence. I’ve not been following this band at all or anything, that was just really funny. Make me laugh some more, canteen boy. (Obscure SNL reference if you were creeped out by that sentiment)
