News: Dr. Dre
Dr. Dre Presents ‘I Need A Doctor’ Featuring Eminem
Dr. Dre has relaunched his official website with a hell of an incentive to pay a visit: the first official single from Detox.
The hip-hop godfather is set to deliver I Need a Doctor to iTunes on Tuesday, but you can hear the Alex Da Kid-produced track below, featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey:
“When it comes out, it will probably be the biggest song in the last 10 years,” Alex previously told Rap-Up TV. That’s a hyperbolic load of horseshit, but the track’s considerably more powerful than anything we’ve heard yet off Detox.
A video for the track was recently shot with Allen Hughes, the director behind Menace II Society and The Book of Eli. Eminem was reportedly spotted on the set in downtown Los Angeles.
The upcoming release of Detox was previously teased with weed anthem Kush featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon. The album is still rumored to be hitting stores on April 20, but a rep for Dre has denied the date.

pretty sick, way better than that awful song about marijuana
Well, I made it through 1:54. I am dissapointed. Every rapper or producer just continues to try and make jams that are club-ready, instead of something that has teeth, like The Chronic. Back to the lab, Dre.
Sounds like an Eminem song. It’s not bad at all, but just sounds like all the stuff coming out of hip hop for the radio nowadays. Change the chorus singer to Rhianna and you’ve got 50% of the rap music coming out in the last year.
I guess my expectations are too high for Dre because it disappoints me that his stuff can be lumped in with all the others so easily, even if its good stuff … just isn’t great stuff.
My thoughts exactly. I’m hoping that since this wasn’t produced by Dre, the rest of the album will be different. I hope it’s not too much to ask for some old school Dre beats and raps, because this made for radio bullshit just isn’t cutting it.
Awww, this song is cute.
‘love the way you lie – part 2′
Isn’t Dre supposed to be the producer?
Skip to 3:22 if you actually want to hear Dre.
It just sounds like something is missing. Call it innovation…call it a hook…I’m not really sure. I’m just not on board with this new stuff so far.
No hook that’s what’s wrong with this song! Ah Dre don’t do me like this son!
Why is the quality for this song sound like absolute shit no matter where you hear it…was it some production call?
for godsake people ,don’t you listen to the lyrics, that’s the soul of Rap(LYRICS)
