Will Ferrell Is David Bowie For Christmas. Really.
Tinseltown partners and goofballs extraordinaire Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly decided to dress up like David Bowie and Bing Crosby to reenact the duo’s famed offbeat Christmas duet of Peace On Earth and Little Drummer Boy for Funny Or Die. The result is a creeptastic mix of hilariously bad makeup and video work (the late-70s porn feel is deliberate) that won’t be replacing the original anytime soon at family gatherings.
The devotion to doing the songs true justice is in itself far more disarming than watching Ferrell caked with makeup impersonating the Thin White Duke, or Reilly’s chunky Bing Crosby. See for yourself:
