Kanye Goes Crazy Again, Says Coldplay “More Talented Than Beatles”
Kanye, we need to talk.
You’re about to release one of the best albums of the year. Track after track you’ve made sure everyone understands why your fans put up with the shit that comes out of your mouth.
This, however, is almost too much. Speaking to The Sun, you recently attempted to annihilate your own character in declaring that “America has, and probably always will, dominate music across the globe.” That’s fairly true. Many would agree with you there. But then you had to continue, “But it’s the British who have had the cream with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones setting the standard. I love Coldplay, and I honestly think they are on the same level as The Beatles.”
Hold on. Say what? Clarify please?
“In 30 years, when Coldplay are old men, people will look back and say, ‘These guys were more talented than The Beatles.’”
Actually, no one will be saying that. Will anyone even remember Coldplay in 30 years? Maybe. In the same regard as The Beatles? Not a fucking chance. A vast consortium believe Coldplay has as much talent as John Lennon’s body in its current state.
Kanye, Antiquiet thinks you’re pretty brilliant. You’ve released several amazing albums, hit after hit, and no matter what you claim to want, you’ve managed to stay in the public eye since your career began. But you’re insane. This is literally some of the most asinine bullshit to ever come out of your mouth. You don’t need the promotion that is sure to come out of this ridiculous statement. You don’t need any promotion.
So shut the fuck up and keep making music. This better be the only ridiculous statement you make for the lifespan of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. We know it won’t be, but damn, man.

This is the problem with the Beatles. They were the first. So everyone puts them on this untouchable alter and act as if when they shit the corn and sunflowers within that shit has turned to gold. They were solid, but I would argue that a few bands (Pink Floyd for example) are greater than the Beatles.
Oh and just like Fernando said. Kanye is an ass. I’d rather rock the new Katy Perry record then waste my time on him.
In terms of overall influence they’re the single most influential band in history. It’s not a debate, it’s a family-tree genealogy of sound and style you can trace back.
I have to agree. The are and always will be the most influential band in the history of pop music.
Alright brother, please let me illustrate you. Back in the 60′s, life was a thousand times slower than it is now. Now keep that in mind when you realize that when the Beatles released “Please, Please Me”, a nice innocent record, it was 1963. Fucking 5 years later they released the motherfucking white album. You show me any other band accomplishing that degree of evolution in that short period of time. Aaaaaaaand remember, back in the fucking sixties. Then there’s the subject of influence. Come the fuck on! I won’t even acknoledge that comment from Kanye. Truly a natural genius, but ignorant as a deaf and blind donkey.

Actually, with the large number of folks out there today who believe in people like Sarah Palin & Glenn Beck; not to mention the fact that someone like Christine O’Donnell could be nominated to run for a Senate seat, it’s entirely conceivable that in 30 years people will be dumb enough to believe that Coldplay is better than the Beatles.
Can I just interrupt to say, I’m sorry, but Kanye is one of the best asses of all time?
It’s really hard to support Kanye’s badassery, when he spits such utter bullshit… In that statement there’s no integrity, nothing whatsoever to support it. Seriously, who the fuck are Coldplay? In their whole career, I’m positive, they’ll find it fucking impossible to outshine U2, not to even mention The Beatles (who I think are overrated and way inferior to Pink Floyd).
Also, it’s not like Europe doesn’t still kick ass in terms of music. It’s just that, there are many different languages in Europe, of which, only English, French and Icelandic are popular, so it’s either electro/instrumental, or singing in English.

I don’t really care for Kanye, but you never know where music will be in 30 years. Sure, Coldplay could be forgotten in the next few years, but they could mature into a very influential group by 2040. Eh, who knows?
