News: Cee-Lo Green
Cee-Lo’s New Album Sounds Fantastic. Listen Here.
By the sounds of this new Cee-lo album The Lady Killer, we’re getting a hell of a lot more in our earboxes than that fun panflash Fuck You gimmick. But don’t take it from me – listen to it here in its entirety, courtesy of NPR:
Sure, the Fuck You track has been distilled to a flaccid Forget You for the stream, but we’re sure a naughty version will be available when The Lady Killer hits stores next Tuesday, November 9th.
Keep up with his MySpace action here.

Wow, this is much better than I was expecting! Props to you (and NPR) for sharing a free demo version; I would have probably otherwise overlooked this album.
Is is weird that the chorus of the third song (or, the one after Fuck You) reminds of Chris Cornell?
sounds more like Eli paperboy reed than cee-lo. Still quite good on first listen.
This is as closest to listening to anything of today’s R&B that I’ll get and I thank Cee Lo for that. As a black person sometimes I feel bad about having absolutely no love for today’s version of soul/R&B music but then I get over it real quick when I acknowledge how fucktastically awful it all is. Chris brown, Rhianna, Beyonce (yeah, I went there), every other one-named, blinged out, talentless, cookie cutter, musical embarrassment moving units on iTunes.
Anyhoo, Cee-Lo, thank you.
Cee-Lo + Janelle Monae = Collaboration that needs to happen.
