Weezer is readying a deluxe reissue of 1996′s Pinkerton (also known as their last great album), and apparently features this previously unreleased outtake called Tragic Girl that was just sent our way by 107.7 The End.

If you want more from the teat of the nostalgia cow, Weezer will milkin’ it from November 26th through January 8th on the “Memories Tour,” where they will alternate between performances of their debut album and Pinkerton, in their entirety, each night. Tour dates here.

Yeah – it’s not even that great of a song, but better than anything they’ve put out since. You couldn’t have come up with a better headline for this post, AQ.

pretending weezer never sucked is really hard, but this song reminds me of why I fell in love with this band in the first place. they pulled my heartstrings.

  4. Rory Biller says:

This isn’t the best thing I’ve ever heard…but better than anything since the Green album for sure.

The more I listen the more I like it.

I’m kind of looking forward to this reissue to be honest.

Every song on Maladroit is better than this.

  6. Elijah's Rain says:

I think the problem with Weezer is that they are trying to write songs that will speak to the youth of today and because those of us who grew up on early Weezer can’t really relate with them anymore. I’ll take the ‘Sweater Song’ over any of the crap they’re dishing out now.

I feel like this is probably one of their darkest songs but i really like it. If getcho was dropped from the album and this was added right after falling for you i feel like the album would be completely perfect.
