News:  The Dirty Heads

The Dirty Heads Reggae Up The Black Keys’ Everlasting Light

By Fernando Scoczynski Filho

The Southern California reggae-rock act The Dirty Heads have never done much to capture our attention. However, this video recently popped up on their YouTube account, featuring a cover of one of our favorite songs this year, The Black Keys’ Everlasting Light off their excellent Brothers album, seemingly recorded on the back of a tour bus.

Of course, we’re none too pleased to see necrophilia-practitioner Rome from Sublime With Rome singing along, but the cover is actually pretty good, if a bit obvious. Check it out here, and try to ignore all the banter:

The Dirty Heads are currently (and unfortunately) sharing tour dates with Sublime With Rome, as well as Of A Revolution. You’re on your own for tour dates and more info, as this is just about as far as we can go in promoting them.

I had to listen to the original to get the spoiled taste out of my mouth

  2. The only word that comes to mind when I hear this – FAIL!

The Dirty Heads played this song at one of their concerts and it sounds sooo much better than this. Just the way Dirty J sounds in this song was way awesome, don’t hate.
