U2 Debuts New Song ‘North Star’ In Turin
Just minutes ago, U2 premiered a new song, North Star, at their show in Turin, Italy to the delight of the packed capacity crowd. The first-ever performance of the ballad was done in complete darkness.
Bono’s introduction to North Star:
“This has never been done before… I’m sure we’ll screw up. This is not finished… um, but actually we’d like to ask a special request… that we play this in the dark. So maybe we can turn the lights off… It’s a song called North Star.”
Enjoy.
UPDATE 8/11: Audio updated with The Edge’s ear feed – very clean.

Also check out anther new song, Flowering Rose Of Glastonbury, which they unveiled for the first time immediately after North Star. We like it a little more than this one.
Thanks to C for the hookup!

The quality sucks, so I can’t make a proper judgement yet, but it sounds like it has potential.
updated with better quality rip.
Alright, well with this new quality this shows some promise, but I still prefer the Glastonbury song.
