Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has a solo album coming on September 28th called I Feel Like Playing. Here’s a cut from it called Lucky Man, featuring Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam singing backup vocals:
Incidentally, here’s some trivia: We’ve learned that at one point, the Pearl Jam song Speed Of Sound was intended to appear on this album, a gift to Ronnie that the band decided to take back for their album Backspacer, due at least in part to Vedder’s inability to transcribe its music.
Thanks to Seth for the tip.

Sounds like he is trying to impersonate Randy Newman.
I love Eddie as much as anyone, but this song is borderline unlistenable. ew.
This sounds like the kind of shitty bedroom music I’d expect a third-fiddle in a really successful band to be making.
its too bad they kept speed of sound, it might have helped such a great acoustic song be utterly raped by the band
He should get back with Faces and go on tour so I can hear “Ooo La La” and smile.
Not enough Eddie at all.
I love Ed’s voice, and I’m not hearing nearly enough of Eddie in this song, and without that influence, nah, it’s not much.
Although I bet Eddie is tickled pink to be singing w/Mr. Wood.
Just my two cents.
I get tickled pink when I play w/ Mr. Wood too.

This song need way more Eddie to make it good. He is mixed too low.
I’m not hearing the voice of eddie vedder .. lamentable … Disk weak! my god
Who the hell mixes Vedder out of a song like this?
same here, can’t hear eddie, what’s the point then?
why did ron waste everyone’s time and even bother having eddie “sing” on this song? let me get this straight… so, he asks one of the greatest voices ever to sing on his album and then he has him sing BACK UP vocals and then he records it so you can’t even hear his voice??? WHAT’S THE F*CKING POINT?brilliant idea, ron. take another dose.
