News: Jimmy Eat World
Jimmy Eat World Rock My Best Theory (New Song)
Jimmy Eat World have unleashed the first single to their new album Invented, which drops Sept. 28.
The song’s called My Best Theory, and it’s not a bad first impression:
Invented was recorded at the band’s Unit 2 studio in Tempe. It reunites JEW (love that acronym) with Mark Trombino, who produced the group’s 2001 breakthrough albumĀ Bleed American.
“We’re very excited about Invented,” frontman Jim Adkins said in a statement. “It was great reconnecting and creating an album with Mark Trombino. We can’t wait for our fans to hear it.”
We’re sure they’ll be pretty pleased with this one. Personally, listening to Jimmy Eat World gives me an odd lovesick feeling that I’m happy to go ten lifetimes without ever feeling again, but that’s not to diminish the band’s ability to rock the sweet emo. Just know that while I’m reviewing the album there will be many laughable, unwritten heavy sighs.
Invented tracklist:
1. Heart Is Hard To Find
2. My Best Theory
3. Evidence
4. Higher Devotion
5. Movielike
6. Coffee and Cigarettes
7. Stop
8. Littlething
9. Cut
10. Action Needs An Audience
11. Invented
12. Mixtape

I loved the first single, Big Casino, off of Chase This Light so much more. It hits me hard even to this day. This new track is a little underwhelming, but I’m holding out hope for better songs on the rest of Invented
It’s great to hear a new sound from JEW
Can’t wait to hear the album!
is there any video por this song?
There probably will be, but as for now…. no.
Meh
good to hear JEW is still making music =)
it lacks the awkward kind of heart and dimension i admire them for and they demonstrated theyre capable of delivering and developing on with every record since Clarity, so im a little weary about this, but ill bite – if just for the sighs
