Soulful, soft-spirited songstress Juliette Commagere is set to release her sophomore album The Procession on September 20th, and we’ve got a delicious first taste for you.
Have a listen to Impact:
Juliette first hit radars as the frontwoman for Hello Stranger, a fascinating little 70’s-glam unit, and has gone on to collaborate both in-studio and onstage with Nick Lowe, Puscifer, Taylor Hawkins and more. You can hear another new track off The Procession on her Myspace page.
Her critically acclaimed solo debut Queens Die Proudly, certified Commagere as an artist to keep an eye on. She’s yet another name on the ever-growing list of exciting, exceptional musicians Antiquiet has discovered through our readers, so keep ‘em coming, guys. You’ve got a hand on the wheel.

Juliette Commagere has a special place in my heart. Hello Stranger was my first time experiencing a “local” band that didn’t absolutely suck. They opened my eyes to a whole new world of music and for that I will forever be grateful. In turn that new world led me here and to all the amazing friends I’ve made along the way. “Queens Die Proudly” was an amazing album. and when performed live, it was a musical experience w/12 or so musicians on stage at once. Definitely liking “Impact” as it sounds a bit more like Hello Stranger, a band I miss dearly. Can’t wait to hear the rest!
If it were at all in question, credit goes to this one for turning us on to Juliette. Good on ya.
I’m on Team @Jerko!
Saw her perform with Puscifer and she had no problem holding her own next to one MaynardJamesKeenan!
I’ve only seen one bad performance w/her and that was when she opened for Melissa Auf Du Mahr at Viper Room. She hadn’t soundchecked and was trying to do the songs w/only 3 people. It did not go so well. She’s playing the Echo on August 26th. If you’re in LA, you best go!
Meh…but thanks as always for exposing me to something new.
Parlor Mob is fuckin’ amazing band !! If you want one to check out !
a wee bit repetitive but song is cool….plus chick looks hot…
