Hear New Music From José González
From Some Kind Of Awesome comes this new track from folk-hippie dreamboat José González. It’s called Far Away, and this version is from the soundtrack to the video game Red Dead Redemption.
We’re not too cool to admit we like this guy. We first discovered him through his appearances on Zero 7′s The Garden in 2006, and have been digging his albums ever since.
He’s got a new band called Junip, set to release a full length album in September. In the meantime, you can pick up their Rope And Summit EP now on their official site for nothing more than an email address, before it officially goes on sale through online retailers on Tuesday. The version of Far Away on Rope And Summit is a completely different version than the soundtrack version posted here, mind you.
