Courtney Love, the only woman crazier than my mother, has unveiled a new song from Nobody’s Daughter, the forthcoming album from her zombie version of Hole.
Skinny Little Bitch saw its debut about an hour ago via Perez Hilton, which is appropriate, I suppose. We got our hands on a CD quality version, however.
I wasn’t going to rush to pass judgment, but then I realized that’s my job. The guitar riff is a 2-chord fart in the wind, and does nothing to support Courtney’s hyping up of relative newcomer Micko Larkin as some kind of formidable weapon. Actually, it’s basically Dive, by Nirvana. If that isn’t a brutally fatal flaw (and it might be), on the bright side, Courtney’s vocals aren’t quite as wiped out and lifeless as you’d expect if you’ve seen any of her recent (as in the last 12 years) performances. It’s by absolutely no means an indication that Nobody’s Daughter will be good, let alone great. But if you’re optimistic, it may not be the worst album ever fucking recorded.
Though, that’s just my opinion, and Johnny seems to be done giving a shit, let alone any credit. I have to admit, I’m hanging by a thread myself. We shall see, on April 27th. Or thereabouts.

I actually REALLY love this song. i love CL and Kurt of course. Ppl shouldn’t go to say things they aren’t 100 percent sure of. I have no idea what happened, NEITHER DO YOU. I am probably the the worlds greatest nirvana fanatic btw. this song is pretty awesome. I think court has worked hard on this album and its 100 percent her. at least she’s not autotuning herself and singing about clubs, pussy, and getting tipsy, that music is trash my friend…
Not the clusterfuck I was expecting. Kind of want to go to that Hole show at the Music Box in April. Maybe they’ll make an appearance at Coachella instead and I can save my money/energy.

I cannot listen to Courtney Love, on general principal alone.
Is it great? No, I suppose not. But it’s probably better than 90% of everything she’s ever done, coming from a guy that couldn’t really give a shit about her in any way.
