The accusations about Cornell’s wife being the obstruction to a full-fledged Soundgarden tour are true. Vicky is an extremely controlling, jealous person. She has a negative habit of calling people “losers” if Chris takes some kind of creative interest in them. She has been known to fly into spontaneous, uncontrolled rages, one of which was well documented on a public airplane, as well as numerous I have been informed of back stage by the roadies. Supposedly she has a reputation for having epic hissy meltdowns virtually any time she does not get her very snobby, pretentious way. Chris wrote the song “Scream” because of her screaming fits, take a hit about this woman people, these are his own words venting his ongoing domestic issues with her, what more evidence do you need? Additionally I have heard a firsthand report of man who is former friend of Chris’s having this to say about Vicky: “Maybe she taught him to hate me too.” That is a statement was made by a neutral man with nothing to lose or gain, just another musician making an observation about that woman’s hatefully spoiled tendencies. More than likely Vicky is not happy about the SG reunion due to the looming, frantic possibility that Kim might call a spade a spade and say something along the lines to Chris of, “Hey dude, your wife is a selfish, controlling, overdramatic bitch, she’s obsessed with Gucci and Versace and she’s draining you, maybe you should just wake up and get a divorce.” Because God forbid that man ever realize all of his band members have a problem with her because ultimately, SHE is the real problem.

I have had the chance to meet Vicky and found her nothing but gracious. Can only go on my personal experience, but didn’t find a snobbish bone in her body. Women can read women and you can tell when there is a caddy woman in the vicinity. She was very cool…the kind of person you could hang out with and never know she was the wife of a famous rock singer or what not. That was my first hand experience… :)

Agreeing with Leon – Lady Gaga – ha ha. Invented by a boardroom to pander to those with an dispensable income. Originally thought she was advertising women’s undergarments with hideous music.
This article is about Soundgarden – back in the 90’s been a fan. Even when Cornell split from the band, I always held everything dear, that is until Scream.
I’d like to see a reunion, I like to hear new material.
However with most reunited bands, I know this is going to be a nostalgia trip.
I predict in a few years down the road they’ll be churning out the same old tunes at each show. Then…when the spark is gone, it is time for quitting.
