We’ve been fans of Cold War Kids for a while now, and have been looking forward to the release of theirĀ Behave Yourself EP (which came out yesterday) for quite some time. The main reason is the inclusion of the song Audience, an excellent jam and one of the better track’s the band has ever produced.

In the newly-released video for Audience, the Long Beach rockers were accompanied by their real-life girlfriends adding a dose of cinematic authenticity to their onscreen interactions.

The band’s friend Vern Moen directed the clip. “We have always been really involved in the video making process,” frontman Nathan Willet told Spinner. “To create a story that is relevant to the song and yet builds something independent of the song is so tricky. It’s theatrical – sort of Cassavates style.” We agree.
