Cold War Kids Find Their Audience
By Johnny Firecloud

The Cold War Kids‘ second album, Loyalty To Loyalty, was a more down-tempo affair than their gospelicious first album, Robbers And Cowards, and while the record was great, it left some fans longing for a return to their piano-heavy soul-stomping ways.
Heeding the call, Nathan Willet and company seem to have returned to form for a batch of new material they plan to release next month on an EP called Behave Yourself.
Behave Yourself will be available digitally on Dec. 21, while the hard copy will hit stores Jan. 19. The first single is called Audience, a soulful track with punchy, upbeat overtones – and it’s already converting the skeptics.
The following is a promo for Behave Yourself, featuring snippets of Audience as well as a few other songs on the EP.
To download an MP3 of Audience, head over to the official RCRDLBL site.

was this song in a movie? I know I’ve heard it somewhere…
Glad to hear them back to some foot stomping good times. I’m looking forward to the Wiltern show in January.

I thought it was the most depressing and not-great album I’d heard in a while. I’ll look forward to a rocking return to form.
Yea, i didnt think their last album was great, although I did really like the track ‘Something Is Not Right With Me,’ and thought the video was cool http://tiny.cc/mkQ41 . hopefully their new EP will be a little more up tempo…
