The Roots have released a new video, the title track from their forthcoming How I Got Over, finally due out next month.

How I Got Over is reportedly a positive upswing for the band, in light of our new non-decrepit-white-dude President. Jimmy Fallon’s house band is as good as the rest of that show is bad, and we’re looking forward to the new album. Especially if the strength of this cut is any indication of its quality.

Incidentally… Did cassette tapes get smaller, or did hands get bigger? I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve held one…

Helluva groove on that one, should be a good album. This isn’t the song the premiered on Fallon was it? I thought that song was the title track, but it sounded pretty different. Maybe it was just the horn section.
