Conan Got Some Last Night

This one’s for Johnny Firecloud, currently on assignment in the Philippines, far away from a television set. Pearl Jam’s performance of brand-new song Got Some, on The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.

Dig it. The album is indeed entitled Backspacer, and while Conan teased us with what appeared to be an actual copy, release is still slated for early Fall.

P.S. Thanks once again to Seth for a heads-up: The album artwork displayed was apparently done by Tom Tomorrow, and was only a small part of “a greater whole.” Read more here.

His first job involved hustling TicketMaster lines on behalf of a New Jersey concert ticket broker at age fourteen, followed by a job in graphic design shortly after graduating high school and trade school simultaneously in 1998.     Hey…
    I was able to ride in on that show. Me and Tiffany. I met a couple of guys in line that had a reservation for 4… their 2 friends flaked out on them, so we got in with them (thanx Matt and Mike).
    It sounded a lot better live… but, it could have been because of the excitement of being there. The non-broadcast song after the show was ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’.
    Not a lot of Pearl Jam fans got in.. the place was filled with hardcore Conan fans.. from all over the country.
    Audience was a bit subdued during ‘Got Some’… but, the place rocked during ‘Free World’. Eddie looked like a leprachuan next to Conan.
