The track, titled Eminem- Westwood Freestyle 1, is a breathless rant by Asher Roth’s daddy over just a basic beat and a looped piano bit, but the rhyme is a tight one. It’s from a Radio One session with Tim Westwood that Em did earlier this month, and you can download it here.
The song got me started down a rabbit hole that uncovered the following clip, which includes the aforementioned freestyle as well as another (and arguably better) one- back on that Christopher Reeve shit again! If you’re like me and you can’t enjoy a good Em freestyle unless you’re watching him make an assortment of hand gestures either towards or away from his dick, you’re in luck.
“Right now we’re doing this for Beijing, baby! Understand how it’s going down!” Classic. Drippin’ swagga juice. If this actually is an off the top freestyle, my jaw’s on the fucking ground.
