Forget about Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood or Dogg After Dark- this is the first episode of Mr. Dogg’s real reality show, The Wake ‘N Bake Show. If you’ve ever imagined what the rap legend does on an average morning, suspecting there might be just a bit more that goes on behind the scenes of his shows on E! and MTV, chances are you’ve come pretty close to the bullseye.

Snoop shares his blunt with Obama, lip-synchs to his own music and acts all sketchy when the white dude shows up. All before breakfast. “We smoke, play a little music, you might catch a freestyle or two…”

Despite running about 13 minutes too long- a period that includes Snoop staring off into space, smoking his blunt to a tiny roach and disappearing for nearly three minutes to get something to drink- it’s an entertaining look at what TV isn’t showing you.

To hell with the big-budget shows that wildly distort the reality they’re supposedly capturing- this is the real shit. Get a blunt wrap sponsor in there, get Snoop eating a Krispy Kreme and talking about how it’s the perfect post-blunt snack. Checks would roll in. We’re in the future now. DIY is the new megacorporation.
