It should be no surprise to anyone that last night’s season premiere of Saturday Night Live sucked fat tranny ass, but there was one bit that wasn’t entirely forgettable: Andy Samberg’s latest Digital Shorts creation- a singing, intergalactic albino superhero from the future.
It’s bizarre, and sure it’s stupid, but it’s original and unpredictable, and that counts for a lot these days. Samberg’s Digital Shorts are one of the few reasons why I still tune in (or at least TiVo) every week. The show would get crushed in a prime time slot, but SNL is still the best thing on television at 11:30 on a Saturday night.
And since The Office is starting its fifth season a week and a half from now, I have a perfect excuse to share this with you. Most of it might only be funny if you’re a Dunder Mifflin fan already, but the Regis Philbin tampon commercial midway through is priceless. This is a perfect example of how good the SNL cast can be when they’re on their game.
The Japanese version of The Office:

“It should be no surprise to anyone that last night’s season premiere of Saturday Night Live sucked fat tranny ass”
I thought the exact same thing after watching.
I only tune in for two reasons,50% for the digital shorts, and 50% for those tiny moments that are just hilarious throughout the whole broadcast.

Last night’s hilarious moment:
“Yo I think I left my kid on the bus!”
actually, you’re wrong, that digital short was entirely forgettable.
