Beady Eye Reveals ‘Be’ Album Art, Track List (NSFW Alert)

Beady Eye, Studio Reports

Some more information about Beady Eye‘s forthcoming sophomore album Be has materialized, in the form of the NSFW artwork seen below.

According to the NME, the artwork was designed by Harry Peccinotti, a photographer noted for some risque Pirelli calenders in the late 1960s.

Recently, we were granted our first sample of the new material in the form of the brassed-out Flick of the Finger, which is significantly more promising than most of Beady Eye’s 2011 debut Different Gear, Still Speeding (Liam would probably agree with us). Interestingly, Liam’s band mate Gem Archer recently revealed that Flick of the Finger was originally intended to be an Oasis song called Velvet Building.

This video also surfaced recently:

Here’s a statement from Liam Gallagher about the new Beady Eye record – in which he discusses working with producer Dave Sitek:

“Working with Sitek just opened something up in us. He’s without a doubt the best producer I’ve ever worked with, a real outlaw – he doesn’t give a fuck, no rules. We had a new found focus when we were writing it – we really got our heads down and got our shit together – clear heads, none of that crap from the ’90s. It feels like a really special record for us.”

Liam took to Twitter recently to announce Be‘s track listing, which resembles something like this:

1. Flick of the Finger
2. Soul Love
3. Face the Crowd
4. Second Bite of the Apple
5. Soon Come Tomorrow
6. Iz Rite
7. I’m Just Saying
8. Don’t Bother Me
9. Shine a Light
10. Ballroom Figured
11. Start Anew
12. Dreaming of Some Space (Deluxe Version)
13. The World’s Not Set in Stone (Deluxe Version)
14. Back After The Break (Deluxe Version)
15. Off at The Next Exit (Deluxe Version)

If you do the pre-order thing, you can pre-order Be right now. It will be released on June 11th in the United States.
