Hear Two New Tracks From Alice In Chains: ‘Stone’ and ‘Phantom Limb’

Alice In Chains, Music

Alice In Chains 2013

With Alice In Chains‘ upcoming 5th LP The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here drawing closer to its May release date, and its artwork slowly unveiling over at their official site, the band have finally come out with a second track from the record. After the somewhat unimpressive Hollow, comes the brand new Stone, which you can check out right here. [UPDATE]: Yet another track premiered over at KISW 99.9 FM, titled Phantom Limb. Naturally, it has found its way to YouTube already.

Feeling not nearly as overlong as Hollow did, and with an arguably catchier riff, Stone may generate more hope for their new record. The track can now be officially downloaded here.

More gripping than the previous two is Phantom Limb, due in no part to its breakdown with the usual laid-back, yet stunning solo from Jerry Cantrell:

Alice In Chains go on tour across the US starting in April. The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is set to come out on May 28th.

Thanks to Alice In Chains Chile for the tip.
