Watch Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love Duet on ‘Stinking of You’

Hole, Nirvana, Music

Last year, when documentary Hit So Hard began premiering to select audiences, one of its major selling points was the fact that it included rare footage of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love as a couple, and caring for their daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

While the doc is actually about the life (and “near death”) of former Hole drummer Patty Schemel, the scene that most viewers kept bringing up was the one where Cobain and Love duet on a never-released song, called Stinking of You. It’s taken quite a while, but footage of the couple singing has hit YouTube – watch it below:

Recently, Frances Bean Cobain asked that her mother be banned from Twitter. Furthermore, we’ve avoided covering Ms. Love’s crazy rants ever since she hit it out of the ballpark by pretending Dave Grohl was dead so she could get his credit card information.

Hit So Hard can be rented on iTunes, and is being shown in select theaters.

Awful. Barely even a song. Just a sad attempt to use Kurt’s legacy to get attention.
