It was a link to a youtube clip of it being performed live… to be honest I was like a stunned mullet so really couldn’t tell you who was in it… there was a chick in it (obviously) and she was all in white… it could have been ABBA if I had been coherent enough to pay more attention…

I’ll give you a hint…we went with an ABBA theme…I’m just sayin’…(ok, I know I’m blowin’ our own horn here, but the remix cracks me up…I don’t get to sing “So hard it won’t go down, it f*ckin’ won’t go down” everyday…or yodel for that matter…ok, the not yodeling all the time is a good thing. ;)

I have to admit that the list is not as amazing as I would like it to be, to tell the truth it’s not amazing at all. And Not even great, simply good, that’s the best I can say about it. I understand that an average song can become someone’s favorite after losing virginity while it played in the background, or something, and life might be abundant of those kinds of moments, but the list is weak in terms of favorite songs.

Crowded House eh? I used lived opposite Mt Pleasant St. Always preferred Don’t Dream It’s Over, but to be honest I don’t figure many kiwis can look past the Finn’s Split Enz gig. I didn’t even know Neil had a son, some local SD boys were telling me about him, saying he was doing really well. Wonkiness. And now I’m having an intense moment of homesickness.
RIP Paul Hester. Don’t dream it’s over.
