Antiquiet’s Valentine’s Day Party, Featuring 8mm And Pop Levi

Ghandi said be the change you want to see in the world. Confucius said that if you want something done right, you have to do that shit yourself. Jesus said that you shouldn’t talk smack lest thou hast one’s own shit together, and the Devil… Well, the Devil is down for any party with an open bar and no cover.
And thus, by divine mandate, we bring you all in or near Los Angeles a party the Gods themselves would crash. Antiquiet’s Valentine’s Day 2009 celebration / remonstration will be held on February 7th at Enjoy Human. It’s a party done our way: 8mm and Pop Levi will be performing. There’s no cover charge. The bar will be open for all, and we’re going to have a free BBQ to start off the night because we care about you and don’t want to see you partying on an empty stomach.

In between and after bands, we’ll have all kinds of special sauce, including guest DJs to be announced, live visuals by COLLABO, an art show, and some kind of crazy photo booth utilizing some of Enjoy Human’s high tech toys. Party goes until 2 AM.

While Valentine’s Day inspired our choice of the particularly sexy 8mm as the headliner, we will be celebrating a few other things in high spirits with all of you. After several successful private events have gone smoothly (including Kevin Llewellyn’s birthday party, where Ashes Divide performed), this event is serving as Enjoy Human’s official venue launch party. It’s also serving as our friend and Enjoy Human co-founder Jeremie Brilliant’s dirty sexy thirty.
So I’m hoping I can say this without coming off as creepy, but if you live in or near Los Angeles and read Antiquiet even once in a blue moon, we sincerely hope to see you there. We’d like to meet you, have some beers with you, and personally show our appreciation for your support. This will be special, and we’re doing it all for you, our fans and friends.

Kevin "Skwerl" Cogill was taught his first computer programming language by his Mother's marijuana dealer at age ten. His first job involved hustling TicketMaster lines on behalf of a New Jersey concert ticket broker at age fourteen, followed by a job in graphic design shortly after graduating high school and trade school simultaneously in 1998. He built his first website in 1996 or so, and continues to do things the way they should be done, rather than the way everyone else does. He's a bit of an asshole, but he's fiercely loyal to fellow fans of good music.

Maaaan, not just the halftones. Even the red blurb under your text, like “CURRENT”, “COMMENTS”, etc. But it’s all good, they do good shit.
