Tour Dates: Deftones, System Of A Down
System Of A Down and Deftones Announce Summer Tour
Last week, the Twitter accounts for System Of A Down and Deftones hinted, not-so-subtly, at a special announcement to come this Monday. As one could easily guess from the pictures posted, the bands are officially touring together across North America this Summer.
The tour (with Deftones listed as “special guests”) begins in August, and the dates are as follows:
Aug. 02 – Philadelphia, PA – Susquehanna Bank Center
Aug. 04 – Holmdel Township, NJ – PNC Center
Aug. 05 – Wantagh, NY – Nikon At Jones Beach
Aug. 07 – Washington, DC – Verizon Center
Aug. 09 – Boston, MA – Comcast Center
Aug. 11 – Montreal, QC – Heavy MTL
Aug. 12 – Toronto, ON – Heavy T.O.
Aug. 14 – Detroit, MI – DTE Energy Amphitheater
Aug. 15 – Chicago, IL – Allstate Arena
As reported earlier, Deftones are currently in the process of recording their follow-up to 2010′s Diamond Eyes. Apparently, the sessions are going pretty well.
